The tubular electrical resistance complements the finned evaporator to defrost the system, allowing the continuation of the refrigerant cycle. It is coupled to the evaporator and when it receives electric current it emits heat that is conducted by the evaporator fins. Arotubi works with a range of tubular resistances with electrical power suited to the size of the evaporator according to the client’s project.
